Description

1. COMPOSITION: Each 10 ml of suspension contains Sucralfate 1000 mg & Oxetacaine 20 mg
2. FORMULATION: LIQUID
3. STATUS: PRESCRIPTION ONLY DRUG
4. DESCRIPTION: Suphacid contains Sucralfate which forms a protective layer on the gastric mucosa & Oxetacaine relieves Pain by providing anesthetic effect. It is used in combination with antacids or alone for relief of pain in oesophagitis & acid peptic disease.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: Common side effects are Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, itching, rash, dizziness, drowsiness, sleep problems (insomnia), headache, or back pain.
