Description

1. COMPOSITION: Each enteric coated tablet contains Pantoprazole Sodium eq. to Pantoprazole 40 mg & Domperidone 10 mg
2. FORMULATION: TABLETS
3. STATUS: PRESCRIPTION ONLY DRUG
4. DESCRIPTION: Pantafol-D/Pantafol-DSR contains Pantoprazole which is in a class of medications called proton-pump inhibitors which works by decreasing the amount acid made in the stomach & Domperidone a prokinetic drug to increase the movement in GI tract. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Peptic ulcer, duodenal ulcer and erosive esophagitis.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: Common side effects are Headache, nausea, vomiting, gas, joint pain, diarrhea and dizziness.
