DESCRIPTION: Bempihart contains Bempedoic acid a adenosine triphosphate-citrate lyase (ACL) inhibitor which works by blocking the production of cholesterol in the Liver. Bempihart is indicated as an adjunct to diet and maximally tolerated statin therapy for the treatment of adults with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia or established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease who require additional lowering of LDL-C.
SIDE EFFECTS: Muscle spasms, back pain, pain in hands or feet, elevated Liver enzymes, abdominal pain or discomfort, Hyperuricemia & Tendon Rupture. Bempihart Tablets
