Description

1. COMPOSITION: Each film coated bilayered tablet contains Telmisartan 40 mg & Metoprolol Succinate 47.5 mg eq. to Metoprolol Tartrate ER 50 mg
2. FORMULATION: TABLETS
3. STATUS: PRESCRIPTION ONLY DRUG
4. DESCRIPTION: Venpres-M tablets contain Telmisartan, an angiotensin Receptor blocker that acts by dilating blood vessels & Metoprolol in extended release form, a beta blocker that acts by reducing the heart rate. This combination is prescribed when single drug alone in not able to control the BP.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: The main side effects are back pain, diarrhea, sinusitis, throat infection, respiratory tract infections, tiredness, dizziness, shortness of breath & slow heart rate.
