Description

1. COMPOSITION: Each film coated tablet contains Telmisartan 40 mg, Amlodipine Besylate eq. to Amlodipine 5 mg & Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg
2. FORMULATION: TABLETS
3. STATUS: PRESCRIPTION ONLY DRUG
4. DESCRIPTION: Venpres-AMH tablets contain Telmisartan, an angiotensin Receptor blocker that acts by dilating blood vessels; Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that acts by reducing the force with which heart pumps blood & Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that acts by removing excessive water from body. This combination is prescribed when single drug or dual drug combination alone in not able to control the BP.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: Main side effects are headache, dizziness, fatigue, coughing, nausea, fatigue, weakness, edema, face edema, lower limb edema, angioneurotic oedema, urticaria & hypersensitivity.
