Description

1. COMPOSITION: Each uncoated tablet contains Telmisartan 40 mg & Amlodipine Besylate eq. to Amlodipine 5 mg
2. FORMULATION: TABLETS
3. STATUS: PRESCRIPTION ONLY DRUG
4. DESCRIPTION: Venpres-AM tablets contain Telmisartan, an angiotensin Receptor blocker that acts by dilating blood vessels & Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that acts by reducing the force with which heart pumps blood. This combination is prescribed when single drug alone in not able to control the BP.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: Main side effects are Pedal oedema, headache and dizziness.
