1. COMPOSITION: Each bilayered extended release tablet contains Metoprolol Succinate 43.75 mg eq. to Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg & Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg

3. STATUS: PRESCRIPTION ONLY DRUG
4. DESCRIPTION: Metapol–H tablet contains extended release Metoprolol Tartrate, a beta blocker that acts by reducing the heart rate & force as well as Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that act by removing excessive water through urine. It is usually prescribed for high blood pressure.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: The main side effects of combination are tiredness, inflammation of nose & throat, dizziness, depression, shortness of breath, slow heart rate and rash.
