1. COMPOSITION: Each film coated extended release tablet contains Metoprolol Succinate 47.5 mg eq. to Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg & Amlodipine Besylate eq. to Amlodipine 5 mg

4. DESCRIPTION: Metapol–AM tablet contains extended release Metoprolol Tartrate, a beta blocker that acts by reducing the heart rate & Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that acts by reducing the force with which heart pumps. It is prescribed for high blood pressure and heart pain.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, headache, difficulty in breathing, slow heart rate, Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain & constipation are the main side effects of the combination.
