1. COMPOSITION: Each uncoated sustained release tablet contains Metformin 1000 mg

4. DESCRIPTION: Glycoheal tablets contain Metformin in sustain release form that acts by reducing the blood sugar. It is prescribed as a first line drug in diabetes and as an adjunct to other treatment when proper control is not there.
5. SIDE EFFECTS: The most common adverse reactions are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain and loss of appetite.
