DESCRIPTION: Cefitaxe-O tablet & Dry syrup contains Cefixime, a third generation cephalosporin and Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Cefixime acts by breaking cell wall and Ofloxacin acts by stopping their multiplication. It is prescribed to treat Typhoid, community acquired Pneumonia, fever of unknown origin, urinary tract infection & post-surgical infections.
SIDE EFFECTS: The main side effects are headache, cough, eye irritation, vertigo, agitation, and Sleep disorder & skin rashes.
