DESCRIPTION: Cefaprime-CV tablet contains Cefuroxime, a cephalosporin and Clavulanic acid, a beta lactamases inhibitor; both of these act synergistically to provide better protection from infection. It is indicated in cases of respiratory tract infections, skin and skin structure infections
SIDE EFFECTS: The most common adverse reactions with Cefuroxime & Clavulanic acid combination are fungal overgrowth, headache, dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances and transient rise in liver enzymes.
