DESCRIPTION: Cefaprime range of products contains Cefuroxime, a cephalosporin antibiotic that acts by stopping the growth of the disease causing bacteria. It is indicated for respiratory tract infections, ear nose & throat infections, skin and skin structure infections, urinary tract infections & intra-abdominal infections.
SIDE EFFECTS: The most common adverse reactions with Cefuroxime injection are disturbances in white blood cells count, transient rise in liver enzymes or bilirubin, particularly in patients with pre-existing liver disease.
