DESCRIPTION: Puradine ointment contains Povidone Iodine, an antiseptic agent that kills bacteria and fungus to eradicate skin infections in wide variety of conditions. It is prescribed for treatment or prevention of infection in minor cuts, abrasions, minor surgical procedures and small areas of burns. Also used in treatment of fungal and bacterial skin infections & leg ulcers.
SIDE EFFECTS: Local swelling, irritation, itching and rash is the main side effects.
