DESCRIPTION: Tavera Injection contains Drotaverine, an antispasmodic medicine used to provide relief from painful conditions such as menstural pain, abdominal pain or any other pain related to smooth muscle. It is also used in the treatment of functional bowel disorders and alleviating pain in renal colic.

SIDE EFFECTS: Common side effects are dry mouth, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, fluctuating pulse rate, headache and swelling at the injection site.
